Speaker 1:

Welcome to another episode of Under Center Podcast. I am one of the tag team members, the defending champs, the Franchisee, and you know who we got Me, boy Matrix, matrixe you know how to put the Izzy on it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, man, but we are back man, how was the tournament?

Speaker 1:

I know we're a week late. How was the tournament for you, man?

Speaker 3:

It was bittersweet for me. Yeah, I mean bittersweet. I mean it was a good tournament though. Yeah, I mean Expensive, but it was good. Yeah, it was, I would say, worth the money I'll give him that.

Speaker 2:

Okay, it was really good. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

But yeah, we are, we are here, we are here. Huh, again, we're weak, late, obviously Some technical stuff, but we here.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but we here, yeah, yeah. So all y'all who like him, man and thing y'all, y'all, y'all, relax, we here. Let's make sure hit the subscribe button on youtube and facebook and and like and add, add and follow on social media. Yeah, because you're listening. But how you expect the channel to grow if y'all ain't liking the things?

Speaker 1:

support, support, support support but let's start off, man. We had the five on five came in team. They came and they took it. They played abacus sharks. If I'm not, support, support, support. But let's start off, man. We had the 5-on-5 Cayman team. They came and they took it. They played the Abaco Sharks, if I'm not mistaken, in the championship. Right, yeah, they did, they did Abaco.

Speaker 3:

Sharks. I actually thought the Abaco Sharks won it and all, but I think the Cayman had to go for it. I think they went to triple overtime and all yeah, over time, you know yeah that was a really good game.

Speaker 1:

That was a good game. Yeah, it was a good game.

Speaker 3:

Uh, really really good game, but I know you playing it. You playing it. You played for the unruly dogs with with, um, some of the freeport fellas, right, yeah, um, that was um wally, that's the running back from bahama rock. Um, that was that was the team he put together. Uh, so he had a few other guys from freeport and then he, you know, had me on the roster. He had two from, yeah, guys from Freeport and then he had me on the roster. He had two from Nassau actually, but one couldn't play. Okay, who was the other one?

Speaker 1:

The Deacon. Oh wow, I forget, but should we talk about that now?

Speaker 3:

Hey, we on this.

Speaker 1:

I mean, it is what it is, Well the information I received that he was supposed to play with y'all. That's why I even forget about him and his teammates from the Predators come there and pretty much tell him boy, if you don't get his sissy self off that, and bam, bam, bam, I'm going to tear him up. I know about all the sissy part, but you know, because we know the Deacon don't play.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, but they are the number that day. I mean I know it's all about loyalty and stuff like that. I mean again, if it was someone from the Lions I probably would have been, I wouldn't say upset, but at the end of the day I mean I guess he didn't get cleared to play from his team mates, but how they dealt with it that was horrible bro.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they could have said it now and talked about it, I mean. Because people come we was on the next side of the field and people come running us. Boy man, you don't understand a bite how they yuck the deacon up.

Speaker 3:

I was there. I mean, we was warming up, and so once he made the first catch, you know, then the start. Oh yeah, we know you ain't loyal by being telling them that and if you play you can split your head. Oh wow, Different stuff. They didn't call him a sissy. You know what I?

Speaker 1:

mean, but they still threatened him though.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you know and then afterwards I mean you know, I understand what he's doing to avoid all the controversy. He's like, hey, let me go see what they deal with it. You know, but he never came back to bring the shirt. I don't know what's the one who's saying man, you might as well come here straight, because you know he can't play If, because if he can't play, if he come on the field, what they'll do? And then all them chiming and whatever.

Speaker 1:

Again, that's the idea they must be selling the pride of the school.

Speaker 3:

My thing is like I say we deal with stuff different. I was a liar to me personally. Hey bro, look, I'm going to show you why. You come on the sideline and put me on the sideline, bro, look, we ain't about that. We ain't about that, you know, we ain't want you to play with them and we end up there on the sideline Because I can be real. You imagine now let's say you know, I don't know his situation. But you imagine, let's say it's me and you and the rest of the Lions telling me I can't play with them in front of everybody, my kids out there, you know. And then when I go home to try and correct my kids, they be like well, why?

Speaker 1:

you not understand managing that?

Speaker 3:

boy, you want to rule us, but you couldn't say that in the calm. No man, that don't work like that. I mean, like I say I kind of understand, because they were thinking it was a Tree Links team, because a lot of the guys was from Tree Links, but what's his name? Was trying to tell him that's his team, but they wasn't there and that. So Wally got into it with them. You know what I mean. So at the end of the day, wally's the running back right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's a fast SOB.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah he's flying, he playing with you guys.

Speaker 1:

But you're also an ops boy. Yeah, well, you know that You're also an ops boy.

Speaker 3:

Whenever you put that uniform on, it's a different story you know. But yeah, we didn't get it done. Big up LJ, man. Sure, big up LJ LJ went. Man Sure, big up LJ LJ went in panic mode. I don't know what's going on, man.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we can talk with him later.

Speaker 3:

I especially put something in for him. The first two games we won 26-0 and 26-6, and then it was.

Speaker 2:

I don't know.

Speaker 3:

It wasn't even pick city, it was just too much overthinking, I would say, trying to get too much trick players and going away from what we was doing it works yeah. Pretty simple, bro. You got Mikkels and Q. Either you throw the ball up or throw the ball underneath. I mean, let's be real.

Speaker 1:

And you had the fast running back too.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And the tight end was catching some good balls too, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Quinny, don't drop bro. Yeah, he was balling. Yeah, he ain't got hands like me, but he's alright. Yeah, if that's what you say, that's why he plays tight and you play with line.

Speaker 1:

Domination. Still what do you mean that? Next we can talk about the female mind, the Cayman girls. They were a good eye candy.

Speaker 3:

But before we move on I gotta give a shout out to Phil man. Phil's been playing with the Cayman team for about three, four years now. I think About three years, I'll say.

Speaker 1:

He gone from quarterback to.

Speaker 3:

D-lineman, he finally got to win one with them. He stuck it out with them and they had no one on the team and they looked like trash or whatever. But big up to Phil, he finally got your 5-on-5 win, you know.

Speaker 1:

You ain't getting on with Eddie, but you get one.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we'll talk about that later, hey. Oh man, Kim and Kim. They came, they sweep, but they were involved in.

Speaker 2:

You know, they won the female 8-on-8,.

Speaker 3:

I mean, yeah, that was pure. I would like to see them go against the wildcat.

Speaker 1:

Pink foxes, eagles, blow out.

Speaker 3:

I could promise you who the blue out. Came.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah that's what I'm saying. I would I like. I'm all about letting them come in so they could come back next year and next year, whatever but I would love to see them play our better teams, because even like somebody from the Hawks is missing too.

Speaker 3:

Blowout, I can promise you bro.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

And even listening to some of the girls out there who were formerly Wildcats players. They were saying exactly what the coach is going to do, say exactly what the player is going to do, what the players are good for. So these girls really, you know, came in. Don't forget, they played with them also, they have a pretty good relationship with them also, and then they've been watching them for a little while. So, yeah, I don't see Kimmy winning that one. Well, but yeah, you know, I mean, but the Hawks put on a pretty good show, I mean, even after losing their coach, like they coached, that, they sponsored.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, but shout out to Keish man, keish still holding Keish and Nate they holding the Hawks King them to get down, man.

Speaker 3:

Like I told you, bro, I mean they've been doing it a little while. I mean so that's expected.

Speaker 1:

You know what I mean, that's expected but even out there though, they really didn't lose they had coach yeah, I mean, but they I mean jay did a pretty good job.

Speaker 3:

You know, he did a pretty good job. That's his first time coaching them, um, I would say, because obviously last season he came on more as an ocean and he couldn't be on the sideline and he also came after they fired the coach when he was taking a shower.

Speaker 1:

The assistant OC.

Speaker 3:

He fired him. The coach came back with vengeance.

Speaker 1:

He can take everybody, but he can take players too.

Speaker 3:

But I mean, you know from news that I've been gathering. I mean, buddy, if you only get $1,200 sponsored, that can't even buy you a uniform. I think you need to go apologize to the Hawks.

Speaker 1:

That can't be for insurance either. No.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, they in a bad spot. If you think $1,200 can do it, that ain't. But they were out there recruiting hard, but I don't know. They were out there recruiting hard. The.

Speaker 1:

Hawks Huh the Hawks. No, they been in the UTM.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Ben and Haji in the new team.

Speaker 3:

Okay, I don't know, I don't know how much success they had, but these girls won't win bro.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they won't win.

Speaker 3:

You think they but you know what I was, you realize say they have Haji and Ryan. That's a resume that says they have 70 years of coaching experience.

Speaker 1:

How'd you just start coaching like three years ago?

Speaker 3:

No, no, no no, no, I don't even think they have 70 years of playing.

Speaker 1:

No no time bro. No disrespect to Mr Ben, but I don't. I just recently started seeing him and he was a referee, and when he was a coach for them, I don't remember, yeah, so I mean, I don't, I don't know where the 70 years come from.

Speaker 3:

But, bro, at the end of the day, I mean people's fox check, you know, everyone have a smartphone and someone told me they have.

Speaker 1:

They say he's a con man. They say they have pictures of him in lockup. Who? That is someone say they have pictures of him in lockup. Who that is? Someone said they have pictures of Haji oh wow, With Kevon you better not go to sell black water Wow. They got a mug shot of the boy holding up the thing like side face. How tall is he? I know't know, I don't know. Bro, I just reporting both sides of the coin.

Speaker 3:

You gave us information. I wonder if he's on the top or on the bottom because he's short. They might have let him lay on the floor, I don't know.

Speaker 1:

It ain't getting real points of life. But I just thought it was so interesting, Dredd.

Speaker 3:

Bro. I mean, it's getting heated on that side, ah boy. But the next surprise to me was the Hornets man, the Hornets man, they got a free Donnie boy.

Speaker 1:

Donnie, you are my favorite player in the league. I can say you's my favorite female player in the BFFL Special Val retire, or say she retire, but she didn't even. I forget her name already Donnie.

Speaker 3:

Donnie. Donnie, she's a favorite because you think she a better all-around player. Yeah, you think she's the best all-around player.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I do, I do, I do. That's my favorite. I Like if the Hornets so I can be real yeah if the Hornets if the Hornets do merchandise with her shirt, I will buy it and ask her to sign it.

Speaker 3:

I gotta, I gotta call my boy. You look like you're getting a little too deep, but no man, she's a baller. She's a baller, I mean, I think, the closest that comes to her. No disrespect to any of the ladies, because obviously Just getting to know the female side of it, but the closest, I think, is Carly.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, carly.

Speaker 3:

Let me talk on all around.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but Donnie is my favorite.

Speaker 3:

And I was telling out there, val is nice, but I've never seen Val play defense, so yeah, but Val did play QB, so and I know like someone.

Speaker 1:

When she's walking past, I just look at her and I was so sad because she needs a quarterback.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, and Donnie brings that energy too, right yeah?

Speaker 3:

I mean the defense looks pretty good, so hopefully they get their offense together. They could be like the 0-9 RBC Lions Once we score six points. That was a win. So I mean, y'all got to work on that. Finally, it's now on the coaches to see how they could put a point on the board. If you can't find a good quarterback, you got to start running some reverse, some trick plays with Donnie or something, some wildcat, something to get in scoring range. Something got to happen. But one thing I can say I appreciate Shout out to the coaches to get to get and score on the bench. Something had to happen.

Speaker 1:

But one one I can say I appreciate. Shout out to the coaches EZ Butler, I think, Chase Siller in there too.

Speaker 3:

I'm not sure. Yeah, Chase Siller.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, shout out to them too.

Speaker 3:

Like they, they did a great job having them prepared for October tournament yeah, I mean, you know, even after EZ was telling me he was about to give up the ghost, when I said give up the ghost, he was going to step down as head coach, you know. And then, obviously you know, it came back to say EZ was about to get fired. That's why he was going to step down. But either way, they're doing a pretty good job. One thing I can say now they do have those ladies well prepared. They do be well prepared.

Speaker 1:

They may not have all the talent, but they be prepared.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, they be prepared so they can always be in the game.

Speaker 1:

That's pretty good. Like one former quarterback NFL quarterback used to say it's not about the X's and the Joe's, sometimes it's about the Jimmy's and the Joe's, sometimes it's about the Jimmys and the Joes.

Speaker 3:

Bars. Ah yeah, Next time say X and O's, not X and Joes.

Speaker 1:

What I messed it up.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's not about X's and O's.

Speaker 1:

It's about the Jimmys and the Joes.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

So sad to say that's what happens Now.

Speaker 3:

I mean Tito, Tito did that. Yeah, Tito Tito.

Speaker 1:

Tito can recruit some players. Boy, I'll give him that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he'll bring the players down.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'll give him that. He got a dream selling.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's a good thing he's a married man in the church. I tell you Boy, yeah, but I mean being a manager is all about One of the better ones. Indeed, I'll give that to him. That's more on the nine-on-nine Shoot. The Predators done it again.

Speaker 1:

Congrats to the Predators. Congrats, Rod Lee.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'll say this quote. I mean, you know again from the great Brady. He always says you don't have to be perfect, but just find a way to win, and that's the predators play. The predators score probably a total of maybe 28 points I think in the whole tournament. 28 maybe, I think.

Speaker 1:

I'm not sure I know it ain't more than 30 points in total, bro, in 30 in five games.

Speaker 3:

Yeah they score seven in the first one, seven in the, they score three, and then they beat what?

Speaker 2:

was the score.

Speaker 3:

They beat Renegades three to zero, and then, yeah, anyway, whatever it is, you know, yeah, they find a way to win, and that's what it's about.

Speaker 1:

I mean, even with that, like I, still got to applaud them because even though they had that controversy where most of them pretty much stand up and watch a couple of these fellas fight, but they stayed together and you got to applaud that.

Speaker 3:

I just want to say like I say, bro at the end of the day, every family has their disagreements and their fallouts. But Bretters are one of the teams that ain't going nowhere. They ain't going nowhere. You know what I mean. They always can be in the mix. Predators are one of the teams that ain't going nowhere. Yeah, they ain't going nowhere. You know what I mean. They always can be in the mix, don't care how dead or old or whatever it may seem, they always in the mix. Again, that's finding a way. You know what I mean. So hats off to you guys. Man, congrats again. I mean what that's? Three out of four for the year? Yeah the year, yeah the season. Um, son was um, and then now the heroes tournament. You know, congrats, bro.

Speaker 1:

You know hey what the fourth one was.

Speaker 3:

Fourth one was um free board okay, yeah, well, I mean we should say three out of five. They lose twice in free board.

Speaker 1:

But I mean again, but they went against the tree links and honestly, that was, it was a good game. It it was. It was a good game, it was.

Speaker 3:

I mean at the end of the day. Again, I think that really came down to experience and coaching.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

You know I saw one or two miscues on BR for tree links where you know they really could put the game away.

Speaker 1:

But again, I mean, even with that too, at least we got a highlight or we got a preview of what the Nationals could have been, because that was a good game yeah, it was. I enjoyed it.

Speaker 3:

It was a really good game. It came down to the last play, you know. So that's all you ask for, especially in a championship game. Yeah, um, you know, uh, so that that's all you asked for, especially in the championship game yeah, you know I mean so again. I mean I glad ain't nothing happened, because you know a lot of little rumors are going around, but this one looking to do this and this one looking to do that and then even with that like I gotta it was, it was.

Speaker 1:

it was some good games, like that ball that went in through, been in the corner but I touched for Travis, for Wild Goose. That was a good ball, it was a good route. Kel slipped but still touched down. That was a good throw.

Speaker 3:

So again, I mean, at the end of the day, that's a good route too. Yeah, caught you the buckle. Yeah, that was a good route. You know, at the end of the day, yeah, the field was a bit saturated, but that's a good route. So he had to run the route in the same mark that you slip in.

Speaker 1:

But shout out to Kels too for going against him.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Because a lot of fellas shy away from him, so that's good.

Speaker 3:

Bro, sorry to say no disrespect, which one that was, that's.

Speaker 1:

Travis, the tall one who swayed by the ball.

Speaker 3:

That's the one, Okay, Anyway, I mean me personally. The only way I would see my best player following him and I can be real, that's inside the red zone. I follow him the whole game, especially if he got to play offense on me also. That's my style of play on offense too. And plus, those guys played five on five. You got to load manage, bro. You got to load manage Hot to off the breaders again, man. But you know, the lines look really, really good. I'm pretty satisfied for what I saw. Achilles heel, always, Always those early morning games. No way in the world.

Speaker 1:

The only game that Renegades won the only game they won the only one, dredd, and according to some of them, they won their Super Bowl that day.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean hats off. I mean score was 7-0. They scored on the first, bro, it is what it is. I can tell you one thing you, you know the lines are back. You know, if anyone watched the first two games, we know what's up. I mean same thing. The last. Heroes tournament. You know, we won our first two games and then went into the next and I think we had an 8 o'clock game again and we lost and the teams that we're losing to.

Speaker 3:

no disrespect to Renegades, no disrespect to Kamen those teams are bottom teams, bro, the bucket of the bucket, I mean like. So, at the end of the day, we know like, for example, and the same left tackle the same left tackle position.

Speaker 1:

You can't even cross over.

Speaker 3:

And then the wall to wall thing yeah but I don't even know who that dude is. But, anyhow, I mean again, like I say, here's what it is Renegades. I saw a few guys. I mean y'all might still lay down and let us go. At least we'd have put up a better fight with Predators.

Speaker 1:

God damn it 3-0, bro, that's the battle I was looking for 3-0?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I was really looking forward to that. Yeah, Anyhow, it didn't happen. We can see about them, though, but seeing that we talk about the Renegades, let's really talk about the Renegades, bro.

Speaker 1:

I mean that was rough to see. This I understand. It was a collection of pretty much three teams. It was the no two teams. It was the Avengers and the Red Dot. Say it again it was the Avengers and Red Dot, Someone else.

Speaker 3:

Avengers and Red Dot. No man, I mean, it was a few guys from the Avengers, but I.

Speaker 1:

They had at least four on that team.

Speaker 3:

Eh yeah, that's cool Name the four oh.

Speaker 1:

They had my point, cadero, okay, yeah.

Speaker 3:

But he's not leaving Avengers, so okay, I'll give you that.

Speaker 1:

Who else had an item?

Speaker 3:

That's what I'm saying. It ain't much, anyway, but I mean, all in all, hold on, sal, ain't make the damn.

Speaker 1:

No, you do busy dressing up Like Animal and thing, like in man. Oh, maybe he had that, that stupid, but I mean Sal.

Speaker 3:

Sal, sal man, but I mean Sal continues to say that he's better than me. I'm trying to figure out which position other than being a clown, but anyhow.

Speaker 1:

But listen, I said hey, Jackass, Are you telling me who?

Speaker 3:

The real question is I mean I'll say this before I ask the question Chance I can be real. I mean I know you guys. Probably you're going to say, hey, this is your first time together as a team, but I call BS on it, reason being that that's at least 85% to 90% of your team from last year. Same offense, so it's nowhere in the world.

Speaker 2:

Same plays.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, same everything. So I mean, yes, different coaching staff. So there's no way in the world Same plays yeah, same everything. So I mean, yes, a different coaching staff. Maybe that's why you guys was losing. I'm not saying the fire coach, I'm not saying it's a bad coach, nothing, because you know, I mean I know nothing about those two coaches. I know Jay is proven on the female side, so you know. But yeah, I don't know. So you know, but yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3:

You know y'all might say we can't have a relationship Because Eddie out there looking like he Like a side puppy.

Speaker 2:

He's lost his dog.

Speaker 1:

Bro, I mean Eddie out there. I mean, like you know, he's lonely sitting in the sun, you know, by himself, and then every couple hours he move, he tend closer to the renegade's tent.

Speaker 3:

It's chill, yeah, I mean at the end of the day. You know, I hear Aiden giving your words of encouragement also, which is only fair, you know, but that's how breakup happens. You know, that's how it happens.

Speaker 1:

He trying to get back in.

Speaker 3:

But I can tell you one thing. I mean I'm glad you're all fired, eddie, because if you're all going to be looking like this, oh yeah, better for the Lions. You're all trying to run through the league for the last two years, but then you know you had to catch all on the back end. But the real question is, do you think they're going to stay together?

Speaker 1:

I don't think so. I heard a lot of grumbling.

Speaker 3:

I mean well, you know, I throw the line out there. Tell people not to bite. That's what I'm saying. I mean, if you ain't happy that you ain't got to grumble lion's looking for. Only if you're good, though, only if you're good. You know what I mean. If you subpar, you know I mean the mascot. What do you call him, the mascot? Yeah, do it like y'all. Y'all can stay over there, man or patty cake.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, patty cake can tell me.

Speaker 3:

I mean unless you, unless you want you want to come over and hold the camera from me so when I come out to the field I can see what's going on on my iPod.

Speaker 1:

No, we ain't need that, because they can be wearing blue when they're dead. No, you're straight, let them wear their pink and green and black.

Speaker 3:

No man, we can let them wear black. We'll take them on with the Grim Reaper, but yeah, that's a rough one, I know, but anyhow that one's water under the bridge. Hopefully Eddie will still bring a red dot.

Speaker 1:

Sweetie, will Chandler play for Abaco?

Speaker 3:

Well, I mean, I think Chandler's trying to be on his own team all the time. He's on the sideline with Abaco.

Speaker 1:

He's practicing how to be quarterback. I saw that too.

Speaker 3:

All right then.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but this little controversy that a lot of people had, even a few people from other teams. They actually brought it to my attention that night, saturday night. They say the Lions was the number two seed and the Predators are number three seed because the Hornets, obviously they played. I don't want to say inferior competition, bro. Hats off to the Hornets, they did what they supposed to do.

Speaker 1:

No, I'm not saying nothing against it. They did it and they put up big points because us, them and the Predators was undefeated, but they had a bigger point margin. We had the second point margin, but if you're the number two seed, how are we playing the number six seed as opposed to the number seven seed? Pretty, simple.

Speaker 3:

You know what I've come to realize? Also, that this podcast has a lot of pull, because, I mean, I asked for three links and I got them.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that was good. I enjoyed smashing three links I enjoyed it.

Speaker 3:

Thanks to whoever wrote up the schedule. I really appreciate it. We have idea who it is, but thanks a lot. You know what I mean. When season come up, we can tell you who we want, also See if that can work out.

Speaker 1:

Hopefully it'll work out, because it might be the Predators. Give us the refs and administration.

Speaker 3:

We can deal with them in December.

Speaker 1:

That's what we want.

Speaker 3:

I mean, so I can be real, At the end of the day it seemed to be fixed, but neither here nor there. I mean we don't make the schedule, we just go out there and play. But there, I mean we don't make the schedule. You know, we just go out there and play. But yeah, I mean six don't ever play two. I don't know how that happened. But at the end of the day I mean, hey, we just got to play a bottom team again. Yeah, here's what it is Again, that's nothing to do with us.

Speaker 1:

I mean it done over over, but we just thought we should bring it to attention.

Speaker 3:

We're still supposed to spank the Renner still supposed to spank the Renner games agreed and then another thing that's brought our attention have you ever seen Predators play in the early morning game?

Speaker 1:

but didn't they play 8 o'clock or didn't they play at 8 o'clock?

Speaker 3:

I don't know. No, they play the same time as us 9. I had like two people ask me that I don't know I really wasn't doing no background check on that BS. But that's all I should mention because it brought to my attention. But yeah, we know Lions ain't going to go to the early morning games, we can tell that much. The thing is, everyone's in bed by 8, 9 o'clock, Okay.

Speaker 1:

I can't play, I ain't gonna lie, I had to do something you're gonna piss me off?

Speaker 3:

yeah, but I mean at the end of the day, like you came in the chat. Oh, no one, don't go out tonight. Okay, hey, everyone's shutting off by freaking eight o'clock but I didn't go nowhere. Yeah, that's a problem. And you, you, you and you made everyone stay home and you might as well let them go.

Speaker 2:

We would have come earlier.

Speaker 3:

I mean, we walk into the sideline and look around, only five dudes walk over me. It's like nowhere in the world, bro. And then we wonder why we got a late start. You know what I mean. But I can breathe. So again, we still had a chance to win. On the last drive Boy, my receivers, ah yeah.

Speaker 1:

I leave that and my left tackle ah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we got to do better than that. That ain't us. You know what I mean Again. But that's when you come to the game late, you start off sluggish, but at the end of the day, hats off to the Renegades man supposed to do.

Speaker 1:

They did their job. They were supposed to do. I know the equipment manager. He won the Super Bowl because he was low on teeth. Even though they had to get the advice off the next game, he was low on teeth.

Speaker 3:

He won one game. It's cool. His record is still what one and three.

Speaker 1:

One and two, eh, one and three.

Speaker 3:

They lost the first two games, yeah so yeah, it is what it is, um, yeah, but yeah, see though the old boys perform.

Speaker 1:

How did they perform? Okay, cause you. You was not an old boy, cause you was here oh, you mean.

Speaker 3:

You mean from the Lions.

Speaker 1:

I never said who came back like like I wish, I wish LT was there, cause LT was. Lt was balling though, bro. Yeah, I mean, lt was there because LT was balling.

Speaker 3:

Bro. Yeah, I mean, LT was balling LT. I can be real, and this is straight up, no disrespect, no one on the lines. If Matty was there, he played the Renegades. We was winning that game. So you know you hold your own. We got to move the ball like how we wanted to at will. You know what I mean? Obviously, elty really surprised me, bro.

Speaker 2:

I ain't going to lie.

Speaker 3:

He really surprised me.

Speaker 2:

Elty's balling boy.

Speaker 3:

Brandon did what he's supposed to do. Marty did what he's supposed to do so at the end of the day, man, hey, that's what it is.

Speaker 1:

Leish got beat first place. Forget that, Leish. But he came back. But Leish, yeah, Leish, Leish. Leish does what Leish does. I was rough, yeah, boy, because when they put Kelz had the shout out to Kelz, he had the balls to come on the line, but to come on the D-line yeah.

Speaker 3:

Wherever they want him to play boy. Yeah, he come on the line and my only thing with that is you know, it's taken away from him as a receiver where they really need him.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

And yeah, he's making plays.

Speaker 1:

He's still making plays, but, bro, especially in a tournament, and then the risk of being injured in the trenches is a whole lot better. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Because I catch him. I catch him on play. I really could put him down, put him down, but that's my boy, so I just touch him a little bit.

Speaker 1:

But I can say, right, it was fun Because, sad to say, more people know me from the podcast than actually playing.

Speaker 1:

So for when I because I ain't going to lie that first game, we played three links yeah I was in my bag that day that game and then I would go to like I was just upset because we only is up seven to zero. I ain't like one dude doing like he he lay stops outside so he's spinning side but I mean I put a shoulder in that dude chest and he roll like four yards and I look at him and I want to call him a B-I-T-T or whatever right, but I say no, let me go play. Still going on. So it was fun, it was a good reality, but I still got it.

Speaker 3:

I mean, but you know, again we talking about the old dudes, right, let's talk. Let's talk about the old dudes, right, let's talk about the younger dudes. We had someone came in from, I think he came from the Predators. He's been to so much teams.

Speaker 2:

But anyhow.

Speaker 3:

I think the last team he played for was the Predators. I mean you think he quit because he realized you're coming back and we're talking about Ron here. I mean you know Ron.

Speaker 1:

Keisha, you say we don't talk our business. We just talk our business. We just want to have a bit of a talk.

Speaker 3:

Ain't much, but that's one of them. Yeah, but Ron quit American quit.

Speaker 1:

I didn't even go back to the Rebels. I know Rebels will be coming back Well.

Speaker 3:

I mean, I can be real. I thought I was trying to feel it out, to see exactly if the Rebels was coming out or to see if he wanted to stay with us, and after he realized that you're coming, back and you're the guy that we're going with.

Speaker 1:

he decided that, hey, man, let's go help out my boys and drink Stoli's. But the thing is, when Ron came to lines he had automatic opportunity to start. You just see him get better and he mind he ain't going to play time in the tournament, but bro like, let's be real.

Speaker 3:

O-line is a funny position, and then D-line the D-line was rocking. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

We had Marty LT, we had D.

Speaker 3:

My thing is, I can be real, you know, and I can call him out Reggie Reggie, reggie Reggie Big Red, whatever you want to call yourself, you let me down. There's no way in the world, bro. There's no way in the world. We're in a tournament. You was one of the senior dudes on the team and you played three downs. Like what Captain too? No way in the world, bro. Like what's really going on with you? I mean, we're looking for more equipment managers. I mean, if you want, then you could do that.

Speaker 1:

You think he was scared at the moment.

Speaker 3:

I think he was. I think he was. That's not the heart of a lion, that's my boy. But at the end of the day, I mean, everyone gets it. But thanks to the Paredes. I mean three things in my voice and everything. I wanted them to win, but I still didn't want them to 3-peat Because at the end of the day we needed to have one of them in our saw. So thanks to the Predators.

Speaker 1:

I wanted three links to win so I could tell them yeah, you'll win, but who?

Speaker 3:

smashed you all over. So I mean again to me at the, you know, at the end of the day, you know, then the argument still would have been like it always has been hey boo, you're in the whole tournament. So my thing is, I can be real, I wanted the Lions to be the ones to stop them. But hey, thanks again to the Predators. You know what I mean. You kept it in Nassau. I think this is the first time a tournament has been won in Nassau for I think about eight, nine years, bro, a long time.

Speaker 1:

You know what I mean. I know one thing, One thing I can say I enjoy playing at three links because they have the best D-line in the Bombers.

Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, by far them.

Speaker 1:

Cass brothers they ain't easy bro.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, by far.

Speaker 1:

Damn easy and I enjoyed A 9-1 trick pony. Yeah, I enjoyed getting Romano Romano on them. I still feel personally that Matty is the best one. He is Because Matty is strength, speed and Matty got.

Speaker 3:

I was going to say Matty have it all. Yeah, he have it all.

Speaker 1:

But them other two boys, they powerful. Yeah, I was going against a shorter one. I think that's Najee.

Speaker 3:

Najee.

Speaker 1:

Come on by tricks. When I snapped the ball and I gave him my punch, that dude punched me back my whole shoulder turn. I said oh hell, no, I got to give him the sack, or the sack can play the game. So it was good to go against him. I like that competition because, like I mean I could be real, like I don't see much D Lyman who I could say as a person, no disrespect to no one else, I don't see no rival d lineman in this league to go against.

Speaker 1:

Like I remember when they had um, I was thinking about this the other day when they had remember charles was a play for the, for the spartans. Yeah, he was a good competitor, russian for avengers. He, he low and he tech, he's a technician. I love that. No, no, like I'm just saying no, no lotion on them. And then you, you had what other dude named Griff? Griff was just powerful and Griff had some band, but since he's not living with me now, griff lose it. Griff is my boy, but he lose it.

Speaker 3:

But like I enjoy going against the best you know, and that's what got me when we lose, I was like bro the dude who actually sealed the game for Renegades. I don't even know this dude. And if seal the game for renegades, I don't even know this, do it. And if you play d line and I play quarterback and I don't know you like that's.

Speaker 1:

It's crazy, bro, but that's off to me, you know. You know what I was thinking about. Like I was, I should have made that adjustment and swapped out the young boy for for for ron. But in hindsight was would Ron do any better? You know what I'm saying, that's what I'm thinking. I don't think he would have. And then two, I'm looking at the long-term effect. Mason, my dog young boy, 17 years old, just turned 17. He, balling, he did an awesome job.

Speaker 3:

But I was thinking Like I tell him, give me that game to play over again. I calling his name for us again.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and that's what I'm saying. And then, like this is first time playing a Tom like this, so his legs was dead from yesterday. He couldn't move. Yeah, because after he smashed Walter once or twice, walter started going like five yards from him.

Speaker 3:

So, but I mean again, at the end of the day, it is what it is, he has had a bad day.

Speaker 1:

He had a bad day man. He choose the wrong day to have a bad day it's cool, but that boy Atkins, he ain't do nothing. Atkins, you ain't do nothing. Oh, oh, atkins, you ain't do nothing, I mean too.

Speaker 3:

I mean at the end of the day, but you know, I Jitney, jitney a lot of talking, but, bro, you wasn't doing nothing.

Speaker 1:

Ain't doing nothing. He was on my head list too, like in the game now.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I know he wasn't doing nothing.

Speaker 1:

He was on my list, but he would not switch on me.

Speaker 3:

Him and Daryl bring the energy because they talk yeah, they talk a lot.

Speaker 1:

Shout out to Daryl too. But Daryl flicking clean, Daryl cleaned flicking Cali.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean he had to get someone back off, that he put him in the ground, but he tried it on me too.

Speaker 1:

On kickoff, on punt return, he tried it on me. Then he'll be like, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, that's you, I say, but I do beg for you boy. Only reason I really slam him because that was Darren. Like he tried jumping diving to me and he stood up like, oh, at least he tried blocking, at least he got in front of him away. But that's a little damn, do man. That was a hell of a punishment he gave Kelly and then he stood over him and he talked that's the worst part.

Speaker 1:

He was like yeah, get your weight up, or something.

Speaker 3:

No dollars. Talking to Mac, yeah, I mean he told me to get my weight up or something, but he was on the ground he was standing there like bro, you eat that stiff arm.

Speaker 1:

Extra mustard and extra salt.

Speaker 3:

People really underestimate that. I mean, like I'm a quarterback, I can't hit anybody anymore. So the one thing I got is I got a good stiff arm, bro. And I mean so I asked three links, like three on one, play two on the ground. So at the end of the day, it is what it is, bro. That's the only thing I can do. You know, I can be lead blocking for nobody.

Speaker 1:

So because you know they're like big, like phil, phil used to love the lead block I could leave block if I hand the ball off but you feel used to flicking no, because feel like that.

Speaker 3:

That pitch park, I know no pitch park, hell with that, but too much mistakes get off with that and yeah, here's what it is so we need to address this whole thing with the international refs.

Speaker 1:

Like I know you don't want to talk. You can't always complain with the refs. First off, kudos to the female ref like I. I just love her energy, like she's so positive and she real with everybody. If she made a call or she say something, she explained it to you. You know what I'm saying. And honestly, that's the same ref from Freeport with the Nationals two years last year and she's just very approachable. And then what I like about it too, I think I had to block someone and I had to fling them and they was like, oh, he can't throw me that. And she was like you need to get your weight up, right. So I appreciate it. But the other male ref, he always come and ask her too. I don't know what his issue is, but he kept changing the rules throughout the whole game.

Speaker 3:

You know, and the funny thing is, let me say this, and you know, I don't want people to think it's the Lions complaining, because there was a particular play where Radley Radley, you know, was on the sideline complaining about a call that was made in our game because he said it happened to them and whatever the case may be trying to fix the situation, the situation, the problem with that is when these refs come over here, they automatically well, I would assume you know, they automatically.

Speaker 1:

An assumption, my assumption is they think because you're making an answer to me, so you guess. No, I ain't guessing, I'm assuming. What are you thinking?

Speaker 3:

Speculate. Okay, that's better.

Speaker 1:

That's the SAT word.

Speaker 3:

They believe they're superior to everyone else that's over here, the reason being that because you pay for them to come in, you pay for their food, whatever accommodations. You do so automatically. You know what they do. They don't check for our rules. They go on whatever rules that they want to go with. You understand what I'm saying. The thing is, it was one time when it was a play where the door to the ref and I asked him.

Speaker 3:

He's like oh yeah, we changed the rule last night. You changed the rule last night but didn't inform the teams, forget, didn't inform me. You didn't inform none of the teams about this rule, because I mean, they're asking Rodley on the sideline, he don't know anything about it. You know, asking the opposite, the opposing team, they don't know nothing about it. So how could we be changing rules like that? You know what I mean, then. My only problem with him is he loves to flex. So you know, for example, the play when we had a hold and this was a key play, bro, like it was third and I think like 10. You know, throw for a 10-yard out, so it was like 14 inches. Now you're saying it's holding, okay, cool, so, which means we got to bring it back. So now we can be third and 20, or should be third and 20. But now you're telling me no, it's fourth and 20 because you lose a down.

Speaker 3:

So all my question was hey, my only thing was trying to prove to me. I want a timeout. We're going to challenge this. One thing I'm asking you to do is show me in black and white where it says that on a holding, you lose a down and 10 yards. I'm arguing it, arguing it, asking for the asking. So I say you know what? Anyway, you know what? Just show me in black and white where it is.

Speaker 3:

You know, the biggest problem with that is he stood there and he couldn't show me in black and white, which showed me that he don't have the rules. They never gave them the rules. Or, if they gave them the rules, they didn't take note of the rules. And I can be real Even if they didn't take note of the rules, there's nowhere, nowhere in the world, that on a holding, on an offensive lineman, that you lose 10 yards on a down. There's nowhere in the world. I never heard that in my life. That's crazy, never in my life.

Speaker 3:

Rodley helped write the rules and he said it happened to him, you know. And he's saying you know, there's nothing in the rulebook. Me and him went over it and we have the proof that it's not even in our rulebook. You know, I mean, and simple stuff like that. The first two games we played we're on the um, the 20 yard line. We always start from the 20 yard line, so tell me now why, um, you want to start our third game on the 15 yard line like, like really like come on, bro, we play it like you can't.

Speaker 3:

You can't just decide to hey, today, you know what, I'm gonna change the rules for them and then to not inform the teams, you know I mean. So, like I like I told them, you know, um, if I'm scheming up for first and 20, you know my whole play calling is going to be different. So the least you could do is, if you're saying, oh no, we made a mistake, we had a sound on the 15, which means it's first and 5 to the 20, then my play calling is different, the least you could do is let me get back on my huddle. The least you can do is let me get back on my huddle. Let me check on my coach. He will play call. He want to do Cause. I mean, you know it's completely different now and you're telling me I supposed to know that, but then there's nowhere in our world box that says that. You know, I mean I need a female for mine.

Speaker 1:

I need a female side of the field.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, don't forget, we do that in the stakes. But we do that in the stakes because it's a 100-yard field. So you know it's different. But at the end of the day, bro, I mean there's no way in the world we're paying these refs. Actually, we're literally paying these refs because you have to pay a league fee instead of the pay them and you know they're going to flex on you, like that. Like there's no way in the world, bro. I mean, the rules were sent in the chat before the tournament. It was the purpose. If he still could change it Exactly.

Speaker 1:

You try to be transparent, but then you still ain't being transparent because the ref's taking it into their own hands.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, they're doing what they want to do. That's crazy, bro. I mean you know, but anyhow, here's what it is. It's crazy. And then you know, for the president, in the middle of the game, instead of him showing in black and white, he's going to call the president and she's going to say oh yeah, that's the rule.

Speaker 2:

That's a lie. I say that's a lie. He called someone. Yeah, he called someone, and I tell you that's a lie.

Speaker 3:

I say that's a lie, he called someone yeah, he called someone and I tell you that's a lie, cause that could tell you how much the president know the rules.

Speaker 1:

Then I have no comment in any reference to the president you ain't gotta say a shit, I ain't saying it cause that's the villain.

Speaker 3:

Yeah well, I ain't saying it this time and then, to top it off, I said I messaged after the game. I was like, hey, I need to have a conversation with you because these rules are changing too much. I got blue ticked. The next time I heard from him was when, hey, you didn't pay the money for the refs yet you understand, and I meant not paying the money for the refs because, like I told the predators, that was Fatherhead Animal, you know, and especially when you blue tick me so you don't have my best interest at heart. I mean, whether we won the game or not, it's about having the rules the same, bro, for everybody.

Speaker 3:

You know what I mean? That makes no sense, bro. You know when the five-on-five was supposed to be three to the 20 and then four to the goal. You know when he came to ref it, oh no, it's three and three. Like what, bro? It was changed right before the game. So you tell who, not the players. You just changed that in your head. Come on, bro.

Speaker 1:

I think he's ready to go. He's ready to go. Kong's solid. That's why he didn't go.

Speaker 3:

And probably collect side the head.

Speaker 1:

Anyhow, let's move on, man, he probably probably need a honey pack on china you need a cowboy, but yeah, but so. So I know that they asked you see the to to broadcast from the field. Whatever came out of that uh, um, mix up, mix-up.

Speaker 3:

That's all I'll leave it. You know our next topic would say it all. I have no problem looking out for the league, but the least I want to do is the league look out for me also when I say me.

Speaker 2:

I'm saying on the center.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I got you. It ain't about the money, like you know, like, obviously we're presenting our invoice, you know, invoice, you know they say, hey, we don't have enough time. Obviously we know they didn't have no sponsor or whatever. So the whole thing was anyway, okay, cool. Well, since you don't, well, hey, um, could you put, understand, as a sponsor, um, could you give us, uh, you know, just some some privilege. Give us a case of water or something you know, make provisions for us so we could, you know, we could, stream this. You understand what I'm saying. Like, you can't expect me to come out there and do it for free um equipment expenses yeah I mean.

Speaker 3:

So at the end of the day, you know, if you give us, you know there was no negotiation after that. You know, because we say we still would do it, they I guess they expected us to just come out there and do it. Um, so what I did was I go um. Well, you should know, call the team. You say, hey, look here, bro.

Speaker 1:

Um, we're gonna just um watch college football on nfl on saturday and sunday under the lion's den bro, after we go beat, we was watching the bears and jack wasky. Yeah, bro, I mean like, like, let's be real.

Speaker 3:

I mean we had all the equipment out. We had a. Let's be real. I mean we had all the equipment out there. We had a Starlink out there, we had all the cameras, we had all these stuff out there, you know the TV and all these different things. So we were watching three games at once, you know. I mean you know. So you know we had to generate and Communication breakdown. I'll leave it at that. I'll leave it at that. I won't go into more details because we're still looking to work with them and if we don't get to work with them, then I mean, yeah, we'll try and see if we can work with the teams and work out something from there. I'll leave it like that.

Speaker 1:

So should we mention now, or you to do it later where our plans is for the team, somewhere in?

Speaker 3:

Florida. We could, we could, we could, we could. So, yeah, before we move on to no, we should do this. Do this one first and then we can go on to that. That's yeah, okay, boy, we can leave. We can even talk about the league with no sponsors. We already talked about that last episode. But, anyway, let's move on to your favorite topic.

Speaker 1:

Who the Boy?

Speaker 3:

NFL flag football, I mean.

Speaker 1:

I wanted to say something, but I don't want to get beat up.

Speaker 3:

I mean no mind, but I mean what's the update on that.

Speaker 3:

So I can be. I mean, again, they're trying to finally get it off the ground. I'll put it like that. And everyone knows how we feel about that. We think we always think it was some shady business, right, and again I still think it's some shady business, Right. Again, I still think it's some shady business. But one or two people were added to the administrative team and they shared some like with me and stuff like that. You know what I mean. So, like, I tell them, at the end of the day, you know you got to convince me now, because it's like any relationship, Once you break that trust, you know you got to build that back and that's the hardest thing to do. You know how are you going to convince the people? What are you going to do for the people who have already paid their $250,000? You know, like you know there's certain stuff like that, and me personally, I'll say this For those who paid their $250,000, let's say I'll give a perfect example.

Speaker 3:

If Colmer paid his $250,000 last year, let's just use my fairy tale story. So if Colmer paid his $250,000, last year.

Speaker 1:

Use LT. If LT paid his $250,000 last year.

Speaker 3:

Okay, if LT paid his $ last year, okay, okay, and nothing happened.

Speaker 3:

Now you're trying to bring it back again and you're telling Matrix that he has to pay the same 250 to play. Only thing that LT is going to get is the same thing that I'm getting I'm getting, and LT had to wait a year. No, sir, I feel those who paid last year should get something more or a discount or some refund of some sort, because there's no way in the world. I wait a whole year and my money ain't got no interest on it. And you're telling me that all these other people come and pay the same $250,000, the same $250,000, and get the exact same thing as me. No, me personally, no way in the world. You got to do something for them because they was loyal to y'all before anyone was. So everyone know the first set of customers always get some discount or get some loyalty membership or something.

Speaker 1:

Early bird get the worm yeah like something bro.

Speaker 3:

I mean, even if you give them an extra belt or extra special jersey or something because you don't need to take them to Pro Bowl, but we ain't going to that. But yeah, they're trying to bring it back and they're trying to do male and female 5-on-5 league. So here it is. They already have dates. So they have like a draft date of it's going to be Friday night under the lights by the stadium, so they want to do the draft date November 7th. So the information I'm not I'm getting, um, this year is not going to be a draft. So, for example, because you know, everyone has their, I guess, clicks or their teams or whatever, um, you would bring your team, I would bring my team year you could draft from the set that's coming in next year.

Speaker 1:

So every year you have to pay this particular fee 250 or whatever.

Speaker 3:

I've ignored some more information that's going on with a quick talk that I had with them and then, obviously so the draft date is November 7th. The league they want to start the league November 22nd. The location is, like I said, thomas A Robinson Stadium and the registration fee is still $250. You know, I asked what the $250 is for. They say you get a flag belt, get your uniform, get that sort of insurance, and then you know any other training camps or whatever they have. But yeah, or whatever they have, but yeah, you know, they added some names like Dwight Marshall, eddie Campbell and Ty Dorsett. So you know, I guess they added them to the team to try.

Speaker 1:

So they cut some other people out.

Speaker 3:

They actually didn't.

Speaker 3:

So I don't know how that's going to work. But I also proposed to them, you know, for the people, for the people that you know who would want to know what's going on. They said, well, hey, guess what, since you since you know you're ready have this bad taste in people's mouth, why don bad taste in people's mouth, why don't y'all, when you're going to have because they say they're going to have an open forum where people get to ask questions, they get to explain what was going on? So I told them hey, why don't y'all allow on the center to stream it live and we drill y'all with the questions, and then you come back and you let the people who are actually there ask questions also. And you know, they said that's something that they would like to do, but obviously it's just in the talking stages. So you know, hopefully that works out and then we can build a relationship with them from there. But at the end of the day I ain't going to lie it's going to be rough and then that's. That's like next week, bro.

Speaker 1:

Cause, even cause that's rough. Ms Dawson hit me up right Cause you know I coached the police team in that tournament, the law enforcement tournament, and she asked me about bringing a police team out and honestly, I respond up because I did reach out to the team and I let them express their views and the players who associated with some of the players in the league. They heard about what happened and how money was never refunded and stuff like that. And after they waited and I gave my opinion and this is my thing, this is my thing, this is my thing, this from this is my view. I don't feel comfortable bringing this forward to the commissioner police that we want to represent the police to put a team in this tournament, in this, this league, with a bad stigma, ready in place, agreed, and then officers done first off. The force ain't gonna sponsor the officers, no 250 to play. I can tell you that now the force didn't even pay for this tournament, the law enforcement tournament, it was free.

Speaker 2:

So officers had to pay everything out of their pocket.

Speaker 1:

So people ain't gonna pay no 250 for this tournament and then I feel like that's more beneficial to the league. That's more beneficial to the league to the flag NFL flag Bahamas than it will be for the police force, if that makes any sense. Yeah, I understand what you're saying Because a lot of people will be saying, oh, if the police there, it ain't a scam. I'm not going to do that.

Speaker 3:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

I mean.

Speaker 3:

So my thing is, you know, like again, I had a short talk with them and I won't call their name. I spoke with them. Yeah, don't call their names. But I mean, at the end of the day, you know they're willing to be transparent, they're willing to do what it takes to actually build a trust back on the people, like I tell them. I mean, you heard it all before. You know what I mean.

Speaker 3:

So, at the end of the day, you know, the proof is in the pudding. You can't just tell me this, no more, because you had your chance to tell me when you did um, it didn't work out like I was supposed to work out. So now it's your time to prove yourself. You know, um, again, I bro, like I told, like I told them I'm on the fence about it, you know, but I'd be real, I'm more on the side of heck with NFL flag football. You know you really got to, and I can't even say sell me a dream boy Like you really got to, sell it to me Like you really got to, you know.

Speaker 1:

I didn't even say you got to show me boy yeah that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3:

Like you really got to.

Speaker 1:

I need to see at least a year of successful events for me to even say okay, I'll give him a chance.

Speaker 3:

It would take a lot of convincing and I can be real. I mean, we all know the quick talkers are around town.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean you know they already, at least the previous people. I know they bring on some new faces now, but they face not any. No more good, so if they still there.

Speaker 3:

And that is going to be hard. Yeah, that is going to be hard.

Speaker 1:

I guess the NFL flag got to send someone else because people ain't on that boy run.

Speaker 3:

That's like an alcoholic, people like that. But then you say you quit, but you still won't go to the bar. That's not going to work, bro.

Speaker 1:

They sell Vitamal to the bar. No.

Speaker 3:

That's cool.

Speaker 2:

But you can put yourself in a position yeah For temptation, most, most.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, exactly. So my thing is you know you still have the majority of the not majority. You still have all these people there who were involved. Yeah, you add one or two, but I mean, how are you going to convince us that it's not them still in charge?

Speaker 3:

Facts and plus they have a longer tenure there than you. Again, I mean it would be nice. I mean because obviously you know you're thinking about Pro Bowl and Olympics and you know the way of the future for flag and all of this stuff like that. But I mean again it's on you guys to really this was a year now, right?

Speaker 1:

How long has it been?

Speaker 3:

It's been Float 9 for Fly Bombs a year now, Bro from what we know, from what we know, a year, but I think it's been. They've been trying to get off the ground in the Bahamas for about two years, if I'm not mistaken, bro. But again, first time it was always involved with the wrong set of people, and the second time was nothing, but it still didn't pop off. So you know who's the common denominator there, you know. So that's what you have to look at. But I mean, again, like I said, it would be something good if it does pop off. But, bro, y'all got. Y'all got y'all work cut out for y'all.

Speaker 3:

For as much as I've been asked to take part and stuff like that, yeah, I can be real $250,. Yeah, but I can take it as easy as the rest of them, you know, and I want no credit, I want my money. So I wouldn't put myself in that position. I'll put it like that. I know that, I know I know $2.50 ain't easy To come by. So I don't know, I don't know. But you have anything Else to say about that?

Speaker 1:

No, but I ain't Ready to move on.

Speaker 3:

Oh.

Speaker 1:

I'm ready to move on, yeah, but you know it ain't scripted. But While we here, man, but you know it ain't scripted, but while we're here, man, you know, shout out to Jason, Alex and the rest of the Bahamas Youth Flag Football League, man, because they went abroad in the tournament and they all played well, but you know, the 15 and under team, they dominated the 16 and under division and they was crowned champions, man. So special shout out to Jason, You're doing and they was crowned champions, man. So special shout-out to Jason, You're doing some great stuff. Yeah, man.

Speaker 3:

I think the under 14, they lost in the semis or something like that. Also. They did pretty. I think the score was 6-20 or something like that and they came back and win 20-21. Yeah, and then they lost in the semis to the number one seed. So I mean again, guys, they always do a good job when they go over there.

Speaker 1:

Shout out to Chris Monroe Monroe, your son ball and he got MVP. Yeah, yeah, congratulations bro.

Speaker 3:

That's nothing but up for him over there, man yeah.

Speaker 1:

But happy for him, man yeah Again.

Speaker 3:

I mean, at the end of the day, that's homegrown bro, so all the best for him yeah, but that's solid man I proud of y'all boys man yeah. So I don't know, before we sign off, I mean, let's, let's get a little something of. First of all, let me, let me. I know we said we were gonna do video for the last show and the show we did. Actually, the problem with that is because the power went off, I think, like two or three times as we were doing it.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, BPL.

Speaker 3:

You know. So every time we do it, the power cut off and then the generator kicks in. So it was a little dip, there was a lot of editing and because it's video, I was like hell with that.

Speaker 2:

Let me just put the audio out so we can get the audio out to you guys instead of having guys wait.

Speaker 3:

That's why we didn't do it, and then this week we had decided against it, so we had started fresh with video. We started season two, but you know, so we have a few things that we plan to do. First of all, we did a merger with True Vision that does like streaming, sports streaming and stuff like that.

Speaker 3:

So now we'll be doing a lot more streaming and stuff like that, a lot more events, sporting events and stuff like that. We will now be called UCTV. We will have our own YouTube page. We will not be going on my personal page anymore. Facebook will be up and Instagram. What we plan to do is I don't know if you guys ever watch Hard Knocks you want to explain that part yeah we plan on doing is during the priest, the priestess, but during the, I guess, training camp.

Speaker 1:

We have intentions to go to every team and we'll probably just film a little bit of the practice when they scratch in, ask the coach to let us talk to a few of their players about the upcoming season, how they feel about it and what they expect him and everybody expectations could be to win. But some people might be like I just want BC and I want some groupies Like oh, fire, carry on, oh LD, yeah, man. So that's the plan, man. So we just want to encourage every team try to get on board, man, try to get on board. And then even like that, hopefully we'll be able to try to get the league some sponsors or something.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean it would be more like inside the teams. So they see how the teams really when they come to practice.

Speaker 1:

So you get spotlight and just build the confidence of your players too.

Speaker 3:

So it won't only be about the star players, It'll be about everybody. And then also hopefully it helps with um. You know parks that have bad lighting and stuff like that. So you know all of that would help because then you really see what environment you really practice in. Bro like some of these environments are horrible, but yeah, so it'll be more like hard knocks, where we highlight a team for a week, um, and go from there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, then we go actually put it on our facebook and our youtube channels too, so get ready to subscribe, like and all the above yeah, and like and like I said earlier, um, we plan to this year we plan to stream all the games.

Speaker 3:

Um, we now have the manpower because obviously, like I said, we didn't measure um the the thing with that is we we're not sure if we're gonna. We got to see what the league says. If the league is bsing again, obviously we'll come to the teams and see how, how best we could um have the teams um either help us or um, whatever the case may be, you know, even if it means say, well, lend us a player to man one camera, or you know, lend us a player to come and come and take with one of our guys, or whatever it is. So we'll find a way.

Speaker 3:

We haven't worked out the details on how to, just to keep the stats yeah whatever it is, even like you say, even, even if it's a key to start. But we'll figure that part out. Hopefully the league comes on board. Yeah because I mean we'll see after December if we have a new board or whatever.

Speaker 2:

I mean again.

Speaker 3:

Spurs are doing a good job. Bro. If you run for president, eddie, run for president too much. Even if Eddie, do it, bro, like real talk man, all BS aside, like at the end of the day, yeah, I think I convinced the Lions. We allowed our private meeting, we allowed our private meeting, don't call, call them over. I think I convinced the Lions, don't mind, I screamed. I mean at the end of the day I mean, yeah, boy, eddie, can't be worse than what they are now. I know I tell you that's the ease of one of it, bro.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

No comment. Yeah, this tournament really shows I'm in a good place today.

Speaker 3:

That's cool. That's cool. I had a good day, so ain't nothing changed. But anyhow, that's the end of this BS. So ain't nothing to change that, but anyhow, let's end this BS.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, man. So just want to tell you all again, man, like I, really me and this one I say that we appreciate all the comments and the feedback, even the put on the podcast. We appreciate all that because we can put on the podcast once you, especially if you have the balls to say it and I, I like Baslamont.
