Speaker 2:You don't know it. I just want to welcome back Mr Matrix.
Speaker 1:You're down right, because I said my last episode he done, dissed us last.
Speaker 2:He dissed y'all. I for the people, but I am the franchisee.
Speaker 1:Who you with Matrix y'all, I ain't going to do it.
Speaker 2:I said my to people.
Speaker 1:That's cool, but you fixed the roof.
Speaker 2:I don't giving you all that. I said my other people. That's cool, but who fixed?
Speaker 1:the roof. I don't know, you got it, though. That's what I mean. So this episode we have. Mr Gino himself from the V-N-E-A, N-V-E.
Speaker 3:N-V-E.
Speaker 1:Jesus Christ, I messed it up Anyhow. That's why we have you here to grab us. But it's the yeah it up and you know that's why we are really. I took the graphics but yeah, it's the business league in the Bahamas on, I want the property. So I was with BCA, right pull, pull cuz. I guess no it was not, not swimming pool, you mean um, you know he's one of the better players in the. Bahamas. So I mean saying that, I mean give us a brief intro about yourself. Oh you ass boy.
Speaker 4:So my name is Eugene Wallace, also known as Chino all my life, but in the pool world they call me Engine, oh wow.
Speaker 1:Yeah, explain that, explain that. Why Injun, I don't stop.
Speaker 2:I guess your woman is very happy with that. She loves that. That's what I'm talking about. Man Once she happy everyone should be happy.
Speaker 1:But how long you been shooting posts? I been shooting since 2000, so that's 25 years, man. Wow, I mean we obviously why, you know? I mean I'm a big fan of your videos.
Speaker 4:I've been shooting since 2000, so that's 25 years, man.
Speaker 1:Wow. I mean now we see why you're so successful in it. At least you're growing, because we have a lot of people, for example, in the BFFL, the Flag League and the Bombers. I mean they've been playing from when I was a child and they still ain't working.
Speaker 2:You mean Reggie, reggie's like pooh. Do we the same way? He both, he both. He dialed Again.
Speaker 1:Yeah, he ain't squadron no more, so he ain't get my plan nine that's what they say.
Speaker 2:So so good question, jero, a little off. Did you? How did you learn, like, start playing pool? Did you have a mentor, like who you MLA? You just want to play it because of him and learn from him or you just like pick up on it.
Speaker 4:So what happened was in 99, the end of 99, I was working, getting ready to go off to college. I started playing over here at a little bar named Chesapeake Lounge on Chesapeake Road Just before I went off, kind of fell in love with the game, went away to school, used to do a lot of sports and got hurt. Told my brother, told my brother sorry, not told, and so I know you wouldn't want to just not be there. Sorry man, sorry Carry on right bro.
Speaker 2:I was involved. I didn't have a one-man, that's what I thought. Focus, no focus.
Speaker 4:He was focused on ball, but that's his focus, focus, but anyway yeah.
Speaker 2:He's changed, he changed. He's changed. His past has made him a great man yesterday.
Speaker 4:Yeah, I had a lot of people looking up to me Shout out to Gucci, Gucci, Number one baby. So yeah, I needed something to do. So both of my roommates actually worked in the game at Florida International. So yeah, that's why you, so I was able to go in there anytime. I want to play for free anytime. At what people who round about round the club didn't know that you know.
Speaker 1:Robin, I can promise you didn't work anymore. Yeah, I mean. But so the the league over here, the two leagues, you give a brief history from what you know on the two leagues over here.
Speaker 4:Okay, so I started in the NV at Nassau Valley Blood Association 2004. I was told that they were going from the 90s. They had a league before that. It was called the Smitty League. A lot of people used to play. It was a lot of chaos, and one of the guys from Alaco and Freeport, captain Easy God rest his soul. He, uh, yes, he's. He brought the nasa. He brought the vne, which is the valley eight ball association, which is located out of somewhere in the states. I don't know exactly, but it's located in the states. Um, they have a lot of different associations underneath them. He brought it down to grand bahama and they brought it over to Nassau. They've been going since. Like I say, since the 90s. They had a lot of really good players and it's 2025 now and the league has grown quite a bit since then. We have about 36 teams right now.
Speaker 2:God man, All in one division.
Speaker 4:No, so we used to all be in one division. I actually created a proposal this past year myself where we split all the teams into two different divisions after the first session. So we run a whole session round robin where everybody plays each other and at the break we split half 13 in the a division, 13 in the B division. So far I'm getting pretty good feedback off it most of people like it because the teams at the top, four or five teams at the top. They dominate. That's not good for morale.
Speaker 2:Yes, I come up there to get mad, so where?
Speaker 4:you go get your girl and bring it to the game. You know I and you can up there to get mad, but so are you. There ain't no way you won't go get your girl and bring her to the game with your wife. You get embarrassed and you can't beat nobody. You get embarrassed and shoot even someone else Exactly.
Speaker 2:I mean, that's something. That's what you all did to us.
Speaker 1:I mean we played them and I so in each round you were able to play I mean sorry, each game you were able to play three games, one per round, and I think I shot maybe once in three games, like I mean, like there was any chance to shoot Once. You know, obviously you know I think we had two. I had two breaks in that. So a break, what they call a break drive, don't sink anything, and that was the last time I saw a dealer that was against our dealer.
Speaker 1:Yeah, no, I forget that I set up this score sheet. Yeah, I was hands down deep. Yeah, I know I forget that I set up this small sheet. Yeah, hands down deep. You know he's right, he's right now. It's a shame and not a name. But at the end of the day, I mean I agree with what you said. I mean because at the end of the day, I mean you know, I feel there are stages to everything we do in life. There's no way in the world you should be hanging with locker bedrooms, big dogs, for example if, let's say, me and you shoot, I might get better because I'm learning from you. But more than anything for you Other than, hey, yeah, I beat this person, that's not going to go on your resume, it's not going to make much difference.
Speaker 4:Much changes it won't, but at the same time. So you can learn a lot from anybody. You can learn how to shoot a shot or how to play defense from a good player, and you can learn how to not shoot a shot from a bad player. You can also learn how to do some things you didn't know could be done from a fine think about it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, because sometimes, if you beat me about it, you just be doing the most stupid shot, trying to get lucky.
Speaker 1:We played uh, what's the team name? Dead shot and that's the most uh team ever get safe, ever. And they never call it safe. I mean it's unintentional, like they're trying to make the shot they're missing, like they leave you. So it was unintentional, like they're trying to make the shot they miss and like they leave you so hard, like every time they miss they're trying to play the shot If they miss. They're leaving you so hard, but that's not what they play for. You understand what I'm saying. I mean, like it was a straight shot on the eight ball. My teammate would have had it if the guy from the headshot that missed.
Speaker 1:He tried to play a four cushion bank and the ball come right in between the eight and the tie ball and he you know, keanu, like he went to play, I was like nowhere in the world do you play a four cushion bank. Only three balls on the table and got that ball perfect between those two balls. Like anywhere else it could land on the table, so obviously I don't care. The greats can like that not no full cushion, probably maybe one cushion, they get it there. You know, to the silver get there, but I mean like the two little balls in the middle of the table, you know.
Speaker 4:So again, I mean I get that part of it so I give you a little nugget when playing pool if you play a ball and trying to run up, finish, because if you don't finish, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah oh yeah yeah, yeah, I agree with that.
Speaker 1:I know you just brought up eight ball again.
Speaker 2:I know early. You mentioned nine ball. What's the difference in rules?
Speaker 4:so a well, which means people who play pool know I play. You rock all the balls together. Eight ball in the middle might have two different balls in the corners, depending on the rules that you're playing with, and you try to sink all the balls of your set, either strike or solid. After you sink those, then you try to sink the eight In nine ball. You rack all the balls together, one at the top, nine in the middle, and you run the balls together. One at the top, nine in the middle and you run the balls in rotation. We stand from the one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, little shake tonight.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's nine. What? Yeah, okay, yeah, a couple different rotation games and I'm okay, okay, yeah, okay.
Speaker 4:So so most people probably be able in in the Bah the majority of people amateurs. They play eight ball. Eight ball is kind of a book in this game, gotcha Okay.
Speaker 1:And that's also on ten ball, which is similar to nine ball Right.
Speaker 4:The only difference is in nine ball you don't have to call anything, in ten ball you call which ball you're seeing in which pocket.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 4:Yeah, and one extra ball makes it a lot more difficult than nine balls, because it's cluttered more. Yes exactly that.
Speaker 2:Okay, so Amad, so he's a loser? Oh man, I agree, man, when I do attempts to participate in the sport of billiards, I just be trying to break every ball. I just watch Matrix shoot it. He's so gentle Me I try to hit it.
Speaker 4:Hit it, this policeman, right.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 4:And they have an attorney.
Speaker 2:I mean, I ain't with him Nobody.
Speaker 3:They have some serious pool shots.
Speaker 2:We got a lot of people. Yeah, yeah. They have a family of pool shots yeah, yeah, they understand that that's not, that's gonna be a good time. I mean yeah.
Speaker 1:I don't mean bottom feeders, you know.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I know, that's one spot I don't mess with. Okay, let's shout out the police move. Shout out the police move. What's that? Mosh freeze? Oh my God, I didn't know I got advertised more.
Speaker 4:They brought the right answer. Okay, where's Bay of Bars, the Boom Boom Room? That's the one upstairs, upstairs, next to the Hardin's Security Room.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I might think I've been up there before.
Speaker 1:They watch the.
Speaker 2:Lemonade. They whoop everybody.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we use the blame on that. They do that, but ain't too bad.
Speaker 2:But I know.
Speaker 3:Speaking of this, I know last year you guys lost in the Championship.
Speaker 2:How do you and your team feel about that? What do you think you're all going to do different?
Speaker 4:So last year last year they had a really good team come together called the Brothers Keepers. There's a bunch of young guys who played for a team here and a team there and they really, really wanted to play. I think they cheat you all the time, so they didn't cheat us. They didn't cheat us, but we had a lot of stuff going on with our team and the guys weren't playing as they normally would.
Speaker 4:So just a little bit of history. We've been winning the championship since we won our first championship in 2010,. We won our second championship in 2014, I believe or 15, and up until last year. We've been winning ever since. Yeah, I was getting there Not winning, dominating.
Speaker 2:So a little bit let's talk about since yeah, I was getting there, Not winning, dominating. So a little bit about that. So not only when you win, a lot of people start to get egotistical and want to leave the other teams. What's the secret y'all? To keep everybody around. So when we originally formed the team.
Speaker 4:We wanted to get a collection of guys together who enjoy playing, enjoy practicing, and wanted to get a collection of guys together who enjoyed playing, enjoyed practicing and wanted to get better. That was our call. Since then, one of the guys who was a part of that call it was five of us initially it was maybe six, but it was five of us who came together like that One of the guys. He didn't really want to do all of that. He didn't want to work on getting better. That's a pastime, yeah, yeah. And so he left the team and from then we've added a player here and a player there who we saw the same potential in, and it was sky was the limit for them.
Speaker 1:That's good, they were similar to how we were with the Jets. You grew together and eventually you know how the story goes Once you grow together. It becomes now a brotherhood. You love each other. You do what you gotta do for your team. One thing I always say with that team is they respect the game. A lot of people don't respect the game and I can give you guys that I never saw. Where you go to a game and let's say they commit a foul and they don't give it up. A lot of guys, if they don't give it up, all they wait to see is who will call it. They automatically. Even if you don't know the rule about that, they still and they willing to teach. You know what I mean. After the game you go to them and ask them but how did you do that? They willing to teach and that got Vass.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 3:If I could see everybody else getting better.
Speaker 4:I want to get better, vass. I don't want to, because I'm competitive by nature. I don't want people to just come and run over me. I don't mind losing every once in a while, because everybody can lose. You learn from losers, you do. I'm steady, but I don't never want to not be competitive. But let me just finish what I was saying earlier. So, like I say, we came together, we were brothers and we grew, but after a while, you know, life is getting away. People have families, people have other responsibilities, and so some of us just weren't able to put in the time that we needed to last year. But losing last year we didn't lose bad, but I call it a beat just because we ain't used to it Exactly.
Speaker 2:I've been there for 15 years almost. Yeah, that.
Speaker 4:I think buddy 10 or 11 years, something like that, not straight. But like I say, the pandemic got in the way. The pandemic, yeah, he's a hater. And then we had a little session where we didn't win. We won because we were better than the other team or we got lucky, whatever the reason. They were the Patriots of the league, yeah, but then we learned we actually had to learn how to win.
Speaker 2:That's good, that's good man. I know that's very hard Like if you look at, even like Super Bowl teams, everybody looking for that payday. So I definitely understand that. But the key thing inside that.
Speaker 1:What he said is I mean the team that beat them.
Speaker 4:They have to build up and that's not the first year they tried and they had.
Speaker 1:they had many teams that tried that and after like the first year, second year, because of the um brother that they had the camaraderie the other teams didn't have, they had to dismount and try to go to the next team or something like that.
Speaker 3:Yeah, that didn't work out. Yeah, it didn't work out, so now I gave it a try.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so it did. But let me ask you a question. I mean, you guys were the Illuminati at first.
Speaker 4:We were the Eliminators at first Eliminators, sorry, we changed our name to Eliminati. What's the reason for that? Well, that was on me. I've been wanting to change the name for a while. One of the reasons was just because we've been winning for so long. Everybody want to beat the eliminators, so I say let's retire the name. Yeah, you can't beat the eliminators if you retire the name. That was me, like that was my thinking about it. But, like I say, there's so many like little different names when we go to tournaments. They have so many little fun names like that. I just wanted a different name. Good change. Yeah, yeah, okay.
Speaker 1:All right, let's check in. I mean me personally. I asked like someone like okay, you didn't want to retire the name, you didn't want that legacy Nope, that was one of the reasons. Okay, that's yeah.
Speaker 4:I think, that's good.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I mean, it's cool.
Speaker 2:So you were a founding member of the limit is my wife. Okay, um y'all guys, recently you've been down to Vegas for a tournament. Can you give us a rundown of what happened? How did you go down?
Speaker 4:I'm there, okay, so I was. The BCA World Championships. They, they have a ton of people coming there from all over the world. We pretty much go every year. So we had about 11 to 12 persons from the Bahamas who went, about six of us well, there was more than that, actually a few more than that About six or seven of us from Nassau and maybe about ten or eleven from Long Island. Yeah, and they we did. Okay, we only the Nassau, we only stayed for singles, eight ball and nine ball, singles and doubles. We had one guy who was on my team, a good friend of mine, dario Woodside. We called him the Beast. He is pretty much the best player in Nassau Beast and engine.
Speaker 1:What's the name for my boys? Dario, stop, what do you name him? I can't even get a good name. Yeah, they said it. We did a funny thing here for my boy Starrio Star.
Speaker 4:What do you name him?
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah yeah. We did a funny thing here, so me and Starrio started playing the same time, you know. Yeah, I had to stop for years. I'm obsessed by yeah, and he stopped for years. Yeah, yeah, shout out to Star. I mean to be real with it. I mean it was only for me, it's just a pastime. Hey, are you going out have a few drinks, shoot a little goal, you know? And then it was like, hey, you want to give it a try? You look kind of good.
Speaker 3:I repeat the same thing for years.
Speaker 4:I wasn't getting nowhere, so I stopped.
Speaker 1:I mean I years I was again nowhere so I stopped. I mean I would continue to take on everything I mean. But I mean now I'm back in the league for three, four years now, started to take a little more serious, started going to practice, only drink on maybe the third round or don't drink as much now, so it's different. But I used to go to the game. I used to be wrecked by that after my first game.
Speaker 1:I can't see, you know I Everything looked the same, so it was only a fun thing for me. But you know, I put a little more into it now. But it's time to continue.
Speaker 2:I see an improvement.
Speaker 4:Yeah, it's time.
Speaker 2:He's being nice, he's in general.
Speaker 4:No, that's it. That's it. The people that are team this day. They can see it. You can see that. You can see that in the movement right now.
Speaker 2:So Barry ever beat you? No, barry is my friend, though that's the way they say it. You're the head, barry, wait, hold on. When you said Barry has.
Speaker 1:now in my mind, baseball is like I had a hold on we talking football, or we talking pool, and I remember push-up, yeah, or we talk a pool and I remember Pusha.
Speaker 4:Yeah yeah, I was kind of lost. I was thinking Barry from Red Dot. Barry Pusha is one of the best DJs in the Bronx, but he's not one of the best pool players in the Bronx.
Speaker 2:No, he's not. No, he's under the bar Shut up, the Barry bar, all right, I'm an outsider looking in, but we keep hearing about this young guy from Long Island.
Speaker 4:Kari Turnquest. Okay, because he had a big page in the paper too. Yeah, the silent killer.
Speaker 2:How old is he?
Speaker 4:Huh, how old is he Dakari, is he's 17,? Maybe 18 now? Okay, yeah, he just went off to university at Drake University in Iowa, sheesh, something like that. I'm gonna call him Pete Joseph he at Drake University in Iowa, sheesh, something like that. I'm gonna call him D Joseph he from Long Island. He used to that he loving it right now. I don't blame him.
Speaker 2:So what traits do you see in him that makes him so special?
Speaker 4:So same traits I saw in Dario so Takari. He started playing when he was around 13 or 14 years old, and so the thing about Long Island is they got one of the best pool backers in the world, I'd say Mr Ellis Major. He has a place down there called Lloyd's. It's a restaurant, it's one pool hall. They have 17 pool tables Golly, 12 seven-foot tables and five eight-foot tables and right now they are pretty much open for them to play at any time. So they go in there and play, they go in there and practice. He puts on tournaments for them every time they go down. They can put on tournaments when they want and they got. They got all the resources they need in order to improve. They have a lot of young guys down there who really doing it.
Speaker 1:I mean nothing else to do on the island too, though I mean why not Stay out?
Speaker 4:of trouble too. Again, that's right. That's what keeps you out of trouble. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:so I mean because those outside activities start meeting in the past. Now you don't want to play basketball. I can remember being young and playing basketball and going on the road playing um basketball.
Speaker 4:Playing barefoot that's what it was. I didn't have any ball. Now they still do that on the island, mikey.
Speaker 1:There ain't much to do, I can promise you, just being in top of it. They different, they playing on the top of it, they streaming in. What do they call it? Twitch? Yeah that's how they get it yeah. It ain't too much outside. I can tell you that it ain't too much outside, but the times have changed. You know what I mean. But I heard you talking saying Bari ain't one of the best in the Bahamas.
Speaker 4:So when it comes to pool, the 200 or so players in Nassau they probably the best players in Nassau. So I mean the outsiders can come in. You got some guys who don't play in leagues or whatever who can play pretty decent, they can win some games, but for the most part the pool players they're the best players in Nassau. So he absolutely is one of the best players in the Bahamas. Yeah, we've come 200 names talking 200 names.
Speaker 1:But I mean not putting you on the spot, but I mean give me a top 10 players billet.
Speaker 4:Players in the Bahamas right now Okay, and in no particular order. Yeah, exclude myself, exclude myself. Yeah, oh man, you just make this hard, like Thailand, thailand.
Speaker 1:I want you to have a lot of enemies when you leave this show. All right, excuse myself.
Speaker 4:Um Dario Woodside, the Beast. Bakari Turnquest, kid from Long Island. Brian Gibson, also Kid from Long Island.
Speaker 1:He's about 21 now. Sorry, just stopping. They placed in the doubles right.
Speaker 4:Yeah, him and Harrison Knowles another. Kid from Long Island they play third in the Platinum Division in doubles, which was the highest division that they had over there, minus the pros. I think he played the one in the singles or something like that. He played the one in the singles. Yeah, okay, alright, so that's three. Who we got? We got Nico Evans. He's a good guy. He's a good guy. He's a good guy. Do I call players who don't live in the Bombers?
Speaker 1:I think you already called the Gary, so go ahead.
Speaker 4:Okay, marcio Smith, tyler Russell, the Genius, that's nine Nine.
Speaker 1:Can't call Gino, call someone else.
Speaker 4:Um, maybe that Let me go the other guy Smith. Yeah, barry, smith, barry.
Speaker 1:Smith from Grandmont.
Speaker 3:I was thinking that.
Speaker 1:So if you were to knock one person off that fence the person you set for one who would it be? That boy threw a curve ball at it, oh boy. You talk with your head, like your boy's big Boy that's a tough one right there. Not saying you better than that, but you just knocking him off.
Speaker 4:I knocking him off like this.
Speaker 1:Yeah, not saying you better, but I mean. But keep in mind, if you knock him off, that means you saying you better.
Speaker 4:You know what, you know what. A couple of these officers. I know animal, he Saw it. I'm yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:He said. He said he used to be a lot better, he'd take a little break. Same with how he is in football he's good, but then at the end of the day he feels he doesn't have to practice, he doesn't have to stick to the basics.
Speaker 4:So we used to call him animal After he'd take the break. We just called him Quincy now, I think he's still on a break eh no, he's playing with the Assassins.
Speaker 1:What.
Speaker 4:I gotta call him.
Speaker 2:I'm not gonna be calling you because you lied to me, you lied to me. There's another coworker of mine, della Restron. She's playing. You know about her, della. Yeah, man, she moved, but uh yeah, the best female I know for police one few years ago.
Speaker 4:She's on the phone and she was the best female player and I saw the best female play and I saw be, I would guess, Teddy, Teddy, yeah Okay. Serwa Ferguson yeah yeah, she is probably the best between her. Lori Lightfoot, who is one of the I guess one of the long-standing members of the NBA.
Speaker 1:Yes, yes.
Speaker 4:She's the past president, oh geez, yeah, the past president, and I guess Jazzy and Roxy. Right now they probably, I don't know, I'm just thinking about that, but Teddy's been winning. She's been winning for the past couple of years.
Speaker 1:Teddy has a lot of them. All of them again.
Speaker 4:Every time I shoot.
Speaker 2:I treat.
Speaker 1:I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I I shoot the guy Okay.
Speaker 2:I shoot the man. So just just one more question. I'm very interested in this right now too.
Speaker 4:So do the um. We have a ladies tournament, we have a ladies all-star, we have a men's all-star and now recently, we have a men's a and b all-star not a man's a and b, we have a a and b all-star. The ladies are also able to participate in that. Uh, if they actually need it, yeah, if they qualified in the top standings they could play in that. We at one point we had one lady who used to be able she was an all-star at one point her name was Colleen Evans.
Speaker 1:She's left the country. That's what I'm saying. What happened to her? You know she had a team too, yeah the Bullies. Yeah, she started the Bullies. Yeah, she had those dudes. They were getting there Young pin coming up.
Speaker 4:She worked in the bar every day. She was really decent.
Speaker 1:So how would you qualify for the All-Stars? I know you're saying, but how do you get to qualify?
Speaker 4:So again, like I said, I just made a new proposal for a change in the league recently. What we did, how it was, was the top 32 players, percentage-wise, win percentage-wise, they would qualify for All-Stars. We made a change right now where we made it tougher to qualify for the division. So the top in the B division, top 16 players, would qualify for the B division All-Stars. Top 15 would qualify for the A division All-Star and the winner of the B would play the number 16 ranked player for that last spot to get into the All-Stars. Just to give the B division players a chance. A chance, yes, right.
Speaker 4:Because what happens is you have B division players who are good enough to play, but their team wasn't good yeah, they were just loyal today, right, yeah, right, I know sorry.
Speaker 2:My brother-in-law, peter Peter Evans, good friend, yeah, I know he'd be on that too yeah, he was, he was.
Speaker 4:He don't play like that right now just because he did dealing with his business and stuff. But yeah, man, peter was coming along. I used to live by Peter and he'd invite me over sometimes We'd practice and play. He had that motel right in front of yours, yep, right in the front room.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 4:Yep.
Speaker 1:I wonder where he'd get them. I just want to thank you for your time. Your time is money, but if you want, you can stay for the rest of the show or you can leave now, if you want.
Speaker 2:Before you go, give me one more question. If anybody is interested in watching our play, tell them where they can see the start.
Speaker 4:The season started in September.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, that's around. That started around August. The season is still going on.
Speaker 4:Yeah, the season is going to be going on until the end of July.
Speaker 1:We started late. We started in the beginning of October.
Speaker 4:We're going to restart either the mid August or beginning September.
Speaker 2:We gonna be playing for the days and you see all the boom boom room.
Speaker 4:That's about potting so, yes, yes, we play on Mondays and Wednesdays. Leave message Mondays and Wednesdays, from 8 o'clock until 11 12. We're not gonna get there. You could watch. Uh, we have a lot of different stories right now. Make sure you have a stream. I have a stream um, my. My stream, my channel on youtube is billiards bahamas. Billiards with an s. Two words billions for billions of dollars.
Speaker 1:Yeah, obviously it's on the center um the matrix 24, 282 for us. But I mean with that, is it's too much to get you? Know what we probably do, we probably get together we can make a list, we can put it on instagram or whatever case may be, but because what we did, what which is smart? Um, they, they basically have a team of streamers, so basically everyone or one person from team created like a YouTube channel. They stream like that, so everyone you know like that.
Speaker 4:So it's much easier.
Speaker 1:You may not know why one person streaming but I mean, I was watching another game.
Speaker 4:Yeah, we actually got the OG streaming house right now yeah, everything we have here he has out there, yeah.
Speaker 1:So, yeah, yeah, he has it on the go, like I started it because I wanted to promote pool and just bring awareness to it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, yeah, cuz it wasn't until like two years ago, I think. I met him at the barbecue and he was like this is a league over here, yeah, so that's good man, I can't play pool, but I can watch it. I can watch it, I just can't play it. I even tried downloading it. I mean, pool is fun. I tried downloading my iPod and I was getting beat for it it was easy.
Speaker 3:It's easy to play, yeah.
Speaker 1:I just want to say it's fun to watch Once you're watching, people that actually know the game. That's what I believe in. That's what I believe in. There's no use you going there this one day yes, knocking the ball, knocking the ball around, and that you know.
Speaker 2:Y'all don't watch me play, I just knock it. Ooh, that yellow ball look good. You never hear that.
Speaker 1:But yeah, I mean again, you know, thanks for your time. We can let it go now.
Speaker 4:Man, I enjoyed the conversation, but If we have more, we well, I don't care, we have a, we have a game tonight. Uh, my team got a makeup game tonight. Uh, at the boom room. Like I said, we started at eight o'clock, so you want to come by and just check it out? You can do that. That's a fifth or sixth terrace center with right next door. That ends upstairs.
Speaker 1:I mean it's on google too.
Speaker 2:Go on google mouse punching sure I can promise you that the name like boom boom room we should. Sure I promise you that For a name like boom boom room, we should know where it is if you really want to know More mud there's no. Tropicana, but I mean.
Speaker 3:You can't get it fixed there.
Speaker 4:We got five, two pool tables, four seven foot and one nine foot, and another seven foot to come in a couple of weeks Only thing.
Speaker 1:I guess I was supposed to say it out there, but I can say it to you now. Only thing I'm with us in there is because of the amount of pool tables. It's not enough space, I think, for spectators.
Speaker 4:Well, we're dealing with the seating issue right now. Okay, We've got some guys who are building some benches go straight around.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, Benches, cushions and everything.
Speaker 4:Yeah, yeah, that's the issue right now, just because how quickly we actually put it together.
Speaker 1:And also a lot of streaming. You can actually utilize the TV in front. So if you want to sit down in front, that's a plan Okay cool, that's a plan. Just so you have the right space to watch. Yeah you can sit in front and watch the games that's going on in the back and enjoy Absolutely. That's all I was talking about. I got nothing, bro. I really think that's good. You're going to have to meet me at the table.
Speaker 2:You're going to have to talk with the BFFL Fly Football League now.
Speaker 1:So, like I said, if you want to leave, you can leave or you can stay on.
Speaker 4:I got to go but, like I said, let me just give a shout out to the Lions. What's up? Gucci, gucci and the boy Anwar, like yeah, leave it. I'm saying.
Speaker 3:Anwar played for the.
Speaker 4:Lions, but we, we could be the crowd watch I, it's possible.
Speaker 1:Don't forget now. Last time we talked with Anwar.
Speaker 3:Anwar.
Speaker 2:You supposed to be my effing boy. Then still forget Yo I don't know what else to say.
Speaker 3:I had my wife and my kids listening, I thought y'all was going to shuck me out, so I hit him up.
Speaker 2:I hit him up and I said will you forgive me what you talking about, boy? I said your face is like a dog. I don't remember that boy.
Speaker 1:I don't know what's wrong with Bobby Dog. I'm more jazzed, bro. Bro, I mean, that's not what it is. So now it's time to talk about what we love to talk about, and I mean, um, we, we love to talk about this part, um, so I don't know if you know this or you saw. Well, let me move from one side. Hold on, let me switch.
Speaker 2:I couldn't wait dog and the ld spirit.
Speaker 3:That's negativity, yeah shout out dancing as he did this show again.
Speaker 2:You don't realize. Again, I don't realize, I have been faithful.
Speaker 1:You know what well you look like you're looking with love, but I know I was married, but that's like give it a break. I don't see what's. I don't see what's going on, man.
Speaker 4:Every time someone needs a show somebody on the show.
Speaker 2:You're trying to miss them. I like you know what I mean. We did a show last week, so we didn't miss that Boy listen to me, Boy, listen to me.
Speaker 1:I can tell you last week, boy, I won't dance so bad.
Speaker 3:I don't this y'all, I'll never this y'all.
Speaker 2:I will never this y'all, oh man. But anyhow, I mean, let's get back to the topic of the day the roof x, but that's that. Yeah, I apologize for looking up. Last week I was kind of scared. I did some sins and I thought the lord was coming for me. You know how good. So I see the BFFL finally clubbed the preseason and the season, but I still trying to figure they got the lines of the game.
Speaker 1:I didn't know that.
Speaker 2:They trying to bring the crowd there early Versus the.
Speaker 1:Renegades, you know. I just want to say call it out, we can talk about each game one by one. The Renegades with, know. You know, I just want to say call it up, we can talk about each game. The Renegades with the FC football club, I would assume. So this preseason game I don't know if they trying to embarrass us or they think we can forward show up without a beat. We can give you all a show. Not the show you all want, though you all care the show. I mean, I'm too old to play pre-season games. Buddy, we had a bunch of old dudes.
Speaker 4:So you all didn't get the show you all want.
Speaker 1:You all want to wait a week too. You all think oh shoot, we can't win it though. I can't come on, I just want to play them at the beginning of the season. I can't play them, let's stick the thing up. But yeah, I mean I apologize.
Speaker 2:Sorry, billy, I promise you good behavior I apologize, but it's a billionaire roster yeah, oh, billy, billy, he's aging again.
Speaker 1:Plenty of cards.
Speaker 2:We treat company like a patty cake. Patty cake was on the bench, that's focus, that's focus.
Speaker 1:So I mean, like you said, I would negate Lions One to come one tank, but it's going to be a good game. I mean the Renegades, they have a solid team. I mean they still have a good core, coached by an experienced coach in Jason, and they have a good team manager Equipment guy. Yeah, I mean he does a good job with managing equipment, making sure all this, like PSI in the water and ices you know what's the water boy? Don't laugh, man.
Speaker 1:I'm trying to talk to him. Nah, look here, I'm not a producer, you're not a subject, but he bring these drinks inside here, because he bringing these drinks that are marked and you gotta be pouring onto the table when they sponsor us, they get all the free pub. Yeah, but all you have to do is just put inside the container, bro let me put on some of the papers.
Speaker 2:Listen, listen, linda. We talking about the water ball. We talking about bobby boucher. Listen, listen, linda. We talking about the water ball. We talking about billy bobby boucher. Yeah, the right, psi, water sucks, it really, really sucks.
Speaker 1:But I mean, yeah, that that they have a good good, cool guys, I mean over there, and I mean the lions. Lions are the lions, the lions washed up, but lines are a bunch of old guys with two, two or three young guys who don't know the game. So I mean it's all there.
Speaker 2:Who can't catch, who can't snop, who can't win yeah.
Speaker 1:I mean you can't say can't snop no more, because I mean on and on. But I mean at the end of the day you could say we watch him, we can't catch him, we can't do something, we can't say can't snop no more, but that'd be out, but that'd rhyme Ron gone, wow, right. So move on to the next thing I got something to say about this next game.
Speaker 2:Okay, the next game would be Team Red Dot and Ron's new team, the Avengers. Wait, that was a good transition, ron gone, they'd be going to the Avengers featuring Ron.
Speaker 1:Yeah, boss we need to make a mixtape. Boy man, someone else in the city. Going back to the Avengers. Man, the Avengers taking all, oh what? The guy name Spockage who like drink the wine, leish, um, Um, travis Travis. Back to the Avengers.
Speaker 1:I know he leaves with a beginning, but my thing is like bro, these dudes just leave their team and talk about the team so bad but then still have to come with you and end up right back there. You know what I mean. But anyhow, I mean all the best of them. They put their team back together. But it's confirmed that MC is the quarterback. What Confirmed, bro?
Speaker 2:MC is the quarterback. Shut up MC, but you. What Confirm, bro? Mc's a quad bot. Shut up MC, but you. Elevating flight football in the Bahamas bro.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, I know, MC MC MC put up on LTE on the job. That's probably LTE in there right now. He scared the hell out of the family.
Speaker 2:He tell you.
Speaker 3:He's been wearing the last one I saw him for as dark as he is.
Speaker 1:He had one little ring around his eye, I don't know.
Speaker 2:I thought he was wearing darkers, that's why, when he's talking to me, he's flicking yeah.
Speaker 1:He tells me what happened. He's wearing a shirt. He fell down and uh, he ain't got no darkers.
Speaker 2:Ahhhhhhhhh. He lost his son. We're all gonna lose the relationship, but he even had a relationship with the boy they say, they say our mt done put up on him. Yeah, the three that you know, the package complete so what happened to the guardian for son was the fast dude he playing receive or something um well I don't know what's he going about this I I can send my spies out there, but I don't know.
Speaker 1:I mean me personally. I thought they'd get him for the future.
Speaker 4:Hopefully they tank him, I mean, but sorry to say.
Speaker 1:I mean, there's no disrespect to MC and I can't tell him what to do, but if you're going to start with a new quarterback, it's for the future man. The same thing you could teach MC. You could teach him, and he's a lot faster than MC. Now, mc might know the game a little more than him, but at the same time you bring up quarterbacks At the same time. Now there's an experienced quarterback you bring in there to play While you train them. That's different. But hey, I mean, at the end of the day, our defense is not going to be chasing them around, but you know what it is too a lot of people wanna be quarterbacks so they can get publicity and stuff.
Speaker 2:They don't realize how important that quarterback position is and how much training requires and study and stuff. He's gonna know I can't be a quarterback.
Speaker 1:So, mc, what happened to the dog? Nw Oldboy, nasty white oldboy, so what?
Speaker 2:happened to them. Nwo boy Nasty white old boy.
Speaker 1:So what happened to them Now?
Speaker 2:that you're a quarterback NWO and Q Nasty, white, old and quarterback.
Speaker 1:That sounds like the alphabet. With them other people again but. I don't go with that any. The.
Speaker 2:ABC boys the.
Speaker 1:ABC things, the LMNOP boys.
Speaker 2:So who do you think who will get prediction? I mean no, this person will get no prediction, but I am interested to see who was committed to the stadium right now. That's what I'm committed to see.
Speaker 1:Oh, I mean, I can tell you that yeah but I can see it. Alright, I mean that's true because at the end of the day, billy ain't too sure who he's going to play with. I can't say Billy on a tour de russet. Billy, you can get a call from Commissioner Asimovich running a new stand for me. But on the real again, they have a lot of guys who are loyal to Eddie. I'm keen on them all. That's okay. They have a young quarterback.
Speaker 2:He's a good drop back. He ain't had a good release. I know Cause when I was in the bush that time.
Speaker 1:I was like what the hell is this? Yeah, and they first started. They said I should run about it, but he said he had a good drop back and I got to run about it. So, man, anyhow, we'll see what's going on. Sunday will be out there. You need to inquire the times for these games. But, and then is it preseason, you know is there a quarter time that we want to talk about. Okay, the first game of the 110, second game of 220,.
Speaker 2:third game of 330. And who's the third game? Third game of the Predators on the Hornets? But is he the sauce that right up? You think so.
Speaker 1:No, oh, that's what I'm saying. I, like the Predators, have a good mix of old and young guys on the team who believe in the system, and I can be real Every Monday and Wednesday at the TAR what do you call it? Field, field At 8 o'clock. You all want to see him catch him up by, but they're able to scrimmage each other every practice. Shout out to Rodley. I mean, it's a team effort too, I mean yeah.
Speaker 1:Rodley's the head, but at the end of the day it's a team effort. Everyone on the see a bunch of moving parts, but yeah, I mean identity. Hey, I mean, if they play this preseason game against the Lions, I don't know, but the Lions have a lot of young guys. You know, butler told me they have a lot of young dogs. You know, butler told me they have a lot of young dogs. So he ain't seem like he expect much other than himself.
Speaker 2:Well, they ain't no damn dog if you don't expect nothing out of them.
Speaker 1:Well, I don't know, it is what it is People just use the dog word so freely. Yeah, that's how people use the goat word, so freely you know what I mean.
Speaker 2:I mean I. There's only four goats.
Speaker 1:Ah see, Now you're reacting to me too. There's only four goats, so let me ask you a question what does the goat mean Greatest?
Speaker 2:of all time so if it's greatest of all time. How much of that is it's one in every sport.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so that's what I'm saying. They say oh well, you have four goats inside this sport. It can't be four, it can't be one.
Speaker 2:There's three goats, in my opinion, throughout the whole sporting thing on the whole, when Tom Brady, Jordan and Ma'am Raleigh. I agree.
Speaker 1:That's my three goats. I agree 100%. I raise my glass. That's my three goats. I I agree 100%.
Speaker 2:I raise my glass. That's my three goals. I agree 100%. Don't raise your glass. That's because I say Tom Brady, he got me. No, I agree, I'm Chicago, he's a mother's father. Yeah, I'd raise my glass if I had. No, don't give him a rally. Yeah, that's my dog.
Speaker 1:Okay, that's my dog. Well, I ain't lucky, but anyhow, that's the move on.
Speaker 2:We straight up move on.
Speaker 1:It's been really good. That's what you get for every time, but I mean you get, you get. I don't know when they scrimmaged us when they saw one receiver he had, but I say one receiver who was actually making plays, thank you. Yeah, I mean obviously you get your boy coming out of the backfield who would dance and do it, yeah, but at the end of the day I mean you don't know, he always looking, he ready. Anyway, I leave that, just saying I leave that alone before we play now.
Speaker 2:All right. So in a 4-40 game, why?
Speaker 3:do you?
Speaker 2:have the males and the females, but anyway, I guess everybody come and see the females. Anyway, we have the Aces, a new team versus the Wildcats. The Aces mostly the Hornets plays there. Yes, yeah, okay. And Phil is then your coach. I saw the other day.
Speaker 1:Yeah, phil is Phil and Yellow but Yellow. But.
Speaker 2:Fly anyway. Let me shut up, yeah. I think his daughter plays for him, though that's probably why. Oh, I don't even know if you have a daughter. I think I heard Haji test it out. I know you have a daughter.
Speaker 1:I know you have day too. He looked like he was playing football.
Speaker 2:The younger son he's a bowler. Oh, ok, ok, he's a bowler.
Speaker 1:I know you filmed one. Who's league, is it again? You were here to watch the whole thing turn Bowling. He's a bowler. You were here to hold the whole thing down.
Speaker 2:Pardon me, but I couldn't get the sun, hey, but that game at 4-4 against the Wildcats you making your coach a debut, hey, hey. Hey, let me ask you a question. You try and slip that in there because we're talking with children, yeah, but I get in that. You hold them, phil. I disagree with that. That's why I look up and see the thing up.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's why.
Speaker 2:I look up and see the thing up. Yeah, you didn't make one yourself. All in God's time, big bro.
Speaker 3:You will give me one.
Speaker 2:Give me one that you ain't leaving. Oh, since you put me on this one, you know, mario, you sure won't be laughing. But hey, adhd is a laughing too 88c is an MC. You see him looking at me laughing.
Speaker 1:Shout out to the producer 88c. There's a lone wolf inside here.
Speaker 2:Hey, let me get back to this, your coach's debut. What do they expect to see out of you?
Speaker 1:Plenty of running off the ball Ground and pound. I get that that much. So don't get caught on your heels, you will be put in the dream. I ain't no Gretchen Knox, anything else you want to ask? That's what it is. I can be real. Don't Bog pedal. You couldn't get it Anything else. You want to ask Mmm, that's what it is, I can be real. Dumb box peril. You couldn't get it Anything else, mmm. Yeah, man, we got another 6-9 in the 2-run box.
Speaker 2:God dang, this is the 1950s RB Army team. Jeeze Dang, oh yeah, that's getting black. This is the 1950s army team, but the last game, the Stingrays versus the Hawks. Really, woah, that's how you did it, keisha, giving them 80. Keisha, keish, give them 80.
Speaker 1:Wait, let's hear it. You know, the funny thing is, suddenly, when we had the little practice you know this, hawks when he practiced after Stingray's death.
Speaker 2:I just realized that they sit in the corner and tell Stingray's death. Tell Stingray's death, tell the Stingray's that he made a sense. Haji and the two people leave.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I don't know. I don't know, I'm hoping, you know, hoping, no, I mean I can't be the judge. But Haji, I would like to see Haji O-line and D-line, because the lady we are throwing the ball I thought that was the offensive lineman- you coming?
Speaker 2:No, stop laughing at me. Wait, I'm laughing at that. Then I'm thinking how, what, let's say this dude with you, is the flicking rock. Rock, that's the life of the bargain and the coin, I mean they would have coins. What, let's say? I tell Haji where you get this piece of earth from.
Speaker 1:He stole a ball but didn't stand to steal the coin. How you mind, if he.
Speaker 2:Give him 80. Give him 80, maybe he take your coach, he take your coach and your ball and your ball 80. You think Jay could take the? Take off the gas, the pedal, throw the pedal.
Speaker 1:No, no, I think I think pre-season or not, because of the matchup. I think they gonna go on.
Speaker 2:Man, they should have saved that for week one, but no.
Speaker 1:so what happened was was a blind draw, believe it or not, and how these games matched up. You'd think that it was a hand pit, but it was a blind draw. Well, they picked the teams and they went ahead and they picked the time. So that's why I just ended up with the females being the last two games.
Speaker 2:But it's actually. I'm interested to see what new Tito and the new E-Bud bring this season to them. Yeah, and they have a lot of good plans, we can understand the heart of it.
Speaker 1:They already get us waking. But I mean we up for the challenge? But yeah, preseason is here, buddy, preseason is here and also it ain't free man.
Speaker 2:It's $6. $6. People out there in the league trying to do some stuff, support, support the thing.
Speaker 1:That's the only way the league could grow. Only way the league could grow, the only way the league could grow is if we support.
Speaker 2:Yeah, support the thing. And then also you want to talk about the party, the pre-party, that's March 7th.
Speaker 3:That's after preseason.
Speaker 2:So that's the following Friday.
Speaker 1:I thought it was this Friday. No, March 7th is right. March Friday is this week, bro. Oh shoot, it's like behind the time. So you're right. So March 7th at Flamingo's Restaurant and Lounge, that's um they say, Christie Street number 7. What's the?
Speaker 2:place name for them people who start up on the road Off Dallas-Met.
Speaker 3:Street.
Speaker 2:Dallas-Met Street.
Speaker 1:I was like living in California saying, hey, I live off Shirley Street. No, you live in California.
Speaker 2:Here's Dallas-Met Street. You go live in the Agrabah's but they open the 20-nose. All they can drink. Come true, meet the players. I might understand them. They be there. I can bring my.
Speaker 1:I can come true, meet the players. I might understand them, may be there. I can bring my sharpie to sign your forehead. I just want to say we will be doing our interviews. Talk your talk in that back up on Sunday. Let's get this started. Don't get embarrassed, but don't worry about that. You won't be the first. You think Eddie coming? Huh, you think Eddie coming. Eddie can come, but he can come with his entourage. Be the first you didn't get any government, huh yeah, any company companies are under I, but they say reputating colors so yeah reputating colors man.
Speaker 2:Yes, just just I know you support.
Speaker 1:They also give it a hundred dollars. Hundred dollars gives it on. Hundred dollars for best, no for most.
Speaker 2:Players can't hear me Most, most of us aren't and they also have free shots on the entry. So, Shit, Free shots. Of what though? Well, you just come in, go inside, take your shot, go in the car, change your clothes, come back home, get another shot, go to the garage. You done drunk but you don't want, you don't drink, but you know how hard buttons and aristocrats go down.
Speaker 2:You think some of these people care. Think about it. Think about it. You think some of these people care. I mean, yeah, we have a teammate who was getting drunk on Mark Rogers and he just be like somebody, help me I'm trying to drive home. So three shots, but a shot is a shot.
Speaker 1:They call somebody, give me fireball.
Speaker 2:And they have $20 on the band specials. So so, boy, three shots, boy, a shot is a shot, they call it something. They might give me five more. Then they have $28 bass specials, Then they have $5 happy hour specials. So I think it's starting right. It could be a good show. They have an outdoor and indoor.
Speaker 1:They have a behemian bass special right.
Speaker 2:I think that's it. Oh yeah, behemian bass.
Speaker 1:Behemian bass they hate my bass and $5.00 for.
Speaker 2:You know we had to get my bucket full of them. Lychee Rattlers, I don't blame them.
Speaker 1:They delicious. Make sure they put them in the freezer. So when we come, we give them something cool and the rest are drinks, that's all they for. If you ask me what's the problem right now, I guess AEHC is drinking the same thing. That's the problem right now. I guess he's drinking the same thing. That's why he ain't making baby yet, drinking all this light stuff.
Speaker 2:Thank you for paying attention and turning it on this. Why does everybody worry about growing, though?
Speaker 1:I ain't worried about growing. I want to be Godfather. Yeah, all in due time.
Speaker 2:All in due time. I get no old boy.
Speaker 1:I sit there and I let you do and talk with me there, boy.
Speaker 2:I say nothing Because you diss the people, bro, he diss y'all.
Speaker 1:Why do you keep trying to bring the people in this? He's talking about you.
Speaker 2:Because, understand, still, on being the voice of the people, you would diss the people like 88. 88 season has been a one episode. He ain't come back because he dissing y'all. I am here for y'all, see now you?
Speaker 1:I don't know I ain't running for office.
Speaker 2:Only Now I don't see what's wrong with you.
Speaker 1:You're a cyber bully. Mmm, yeah, mmm, that's what you do, mmm. Now, if 88 season was, you would have been talking with LLT, llt in here.
Speaker 2:Of course that's my thing.
Speaker 3:That's what I tell you. I'd start behind your back and your face?
Speaker 2:I don't know. I like Tito Dito that starts behind the back.
Speaker 1:I'd turn you to your face With your heart. But I mean, let's get out of here, man, let's get out of here. It's time to get out of here, bug, get out of here I'm going to wash the pool.
Speaker 2:Yeah boy, yeah boy, All right, let's go baby.
Speaker 1:Why you just staying here, bro, what you think. Sorry if I'm hurting you, man, yeah, but I don't hate you.
Speaker 2:I'm going to grind the car boy I can you say you were.
Speaker 1:Well, it's the best thing to use when you cry in the car. To use tissue or nothing. There you gotta use a nice cotton.
